
October 23-25, 2023 in the city of Mukachevo on the basis of the Palace of Culture and Arts (Str. Augustyna Shtefan, 19) passed a three-day seminar with international participation "Practical implementation of modern recommendations for medical care of newborns in delivery room and intensive care unit" for neonatologists and pediatric anesthesiologists of departments intensive care of newborns and post-intensive care of maternity institutions Transcarpathian region, which use in their practice the introduction of surfactant and appointment of parenteral nutrition.
The event was opened with an opening speech by the deputy director of perinatal medicine of the State University "Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology named after Academician O.M. Lukyanova National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine", President of the Association of Neonatologists of Ukraine, member-cor. National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Medicine, Professor T.K. The first two days of the seminar were devoted to issues of providing medical care newborns with respiratory distress syndrome, surfactant replacement therapy, and to new methods of non-invasive respiratory support for infants, which create additional the possibility of increasing comfort and reducing the number of cases of chronic disease lungs
During the practical part, doctors practiced practical skills on mannequins minimally invasive methods of administering surfactant to newborns.
During the third day of the seminar, the topic of standardized parenteral was considered nutrition in neonatological practice.
T. Znamenska and O. Vorobyova conducted a Master Class "Practical skills in using a standardized drug for parenteral nutrition newborns: activation, dose calculation, connection of infusion systems".
During the practical part, doctors practiced the skills of activating the standardized a preparation for parenteral nutrition of newborns of industrial production; from the calculation of a standardized drug for parenteral nutrition newborns of industrial production: doses for infusion into the central or peripheral veins with or without lipids; from the use of a standardized drug for parenteral nutrition of industrially produced newborns: connecting infusion systems and adding additional components.
The seminar participants had the opportunity to ask and receive questions during the event comprehensive answers.
At the end of the seminar, the participants of the event were tested to receive a certificate confirming participation in the specified event and accrual of BPR points, in accordance with the criteria for awarding points of continuous professional development, which determined by the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated February 22, 2019 No. 446.
